Chocolate Chip Nutty Pound Cake

1 stick butter      1 cup peanut butter

1/2 cup shortening     1/2 teaspoon baking soda

3 cups sugar      1/2 salt

1 (8 oz) cream cheese     1 teaspoon vanilla

6 eggs       1 cup chocolate chips

2 cups all purpose flour     1/2 cup cocoa

1 cup peanut flour     1/2 cup Hershey’s

Chocolate Syrup

  1. Cream butter, shortening and cream cheese.
  2. Gradually add sugar, beating well at medium speed.
  3. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  4. Add chocolate syrup.
  5. Combine flour, soda and salt-add to creamed mixture stirring just until blended.
  6. Stir in remaining ingredients.
  7. Pour batter into a greased and  floured 10 inch tube pan.
  8. Bake at 325 degrees F for 1 1/2 hours
  9. Cool in pan for 10-15 min.
  10. Remove from pan.
  11. Use favorite icing if desired
